FS: Herb Ellis Aria Pro 2 . Made in Japan 1982. price drop £899
Here is a 42 year old MIJ cool beauty.
The Herb Ellis PE 175 in Tobacco Sunburst. All original apart from one strap button. Has some dings but is in great nick for its age. There is a small lacquer crack which I will get a pic of later, but nothing serious. Plays and sounds great, hollow body with a support bar under the bridge that ties the top and back of the guitar together, those in the know reckon this is what helps it sound so good.
The hard case is pretty new and is very good, currently has round wounds on it.

Lovely guitar!
Back in the 80s, Paul Weller used on with the Style Council see pic, top right, Cafe Bleu LP.
A very long story cut very short, I recall seeing Paul's in the control room at Solid Bond Studios (formerly Polygram). A band member of the time told me that it got destroyed when Paul lost his temper with it when he had tuning issues at a rehearsal and just threw it across the room. Proper rock star behaviour..... He doesn't know whether to was repaired or trashed.
