FS / FT Gray Guitars Admiral Tele style £1100 priced to sell
What's Hot
Grab a bargain…….though I just can’t get on with Tele’s, I saw it and couldn’t resist.
Bought originally in February 2023, custom spec’d, I’m the second owner
Alder body "Slightly aged" satin finish - has taken on some slight dings and grazes, paint rather than wood.
Grade AAA roasted maple neck/fretboard = Absolutely stunning - shimmers in the light! The action is low but the truss rod is maxed out, though the action is low and easy. Lots more relief can be added but no more taken out. The action feels lower and better than any Fender I’ve owned but just saying.
Aged Gotoh Tuners. Rutters vintage bridye. Bareknuckle Flat 50s.
9.5” - 12” radius, fat D profile neck. Low easy action..

Unfortunately some recent knocks on the bottom of the guitar (Damage from a bad guitar stand as pictured, hence the price (3k new)
Answer to a recent question ……The damage looks to be all top coat paint revealing the undercoat, it doesn’t bother me as it’s a relic’d guitar anyway but to some it might. The back scratch might go a little deeper, that looks like a ding rather than a stand / finish reaction though you can’t see wood. The contour lines on the top are just the top coat again and look cool, in my opinion.
No dings on the neck.
I purchased it from the original owner who was clearing for a purchase, I hate Teles but this looks so good and at the price was a no brainer. Though I love the chunky neck I miss a humbucker so HSS is probably my way forward.
