Well last night it was my recently acquired Yamaha Pacifica Professional. Really nice instrument but I’m still not quite as comfortable with it as I am with a Strat. What I hadn’t noticed in the shop (where I was sitting down) is that once on the strap the guitar sits slightly further to the left than a Fender. It’s probably only a centimetre or so but certainly enough to notice. A few songs in I was fine, but I did miss my fingering once or twice early on. Now I’m aware of the issue I can hold the instrument slightly differently and everything’s hunky.
Don’t even look at it! Don’t touch it! Don’t point even...ok, you’ve seen enough of that one.

1965 ES335 belonging to the brilliant Bill Ryder-Jones. Here for a couple of weeks only, but a wonderful guitar.

For some reason I can't get Imgur links to embed properly here any more. Any ideas?

This. It’s so so very good. It’ll be this for a very long time, so I’ll just intermittently post pics of it. Hope that’s ok.

My SG came out of its case for the summer. It's been in there long enough to have recharged the 'new Gibson' smell, despite being 11 years old. ;)

Tonight at the practice rooms is a big test for

as having been the subject of my recent Edge Pro thread on here, it will determine whether it will go under the screwdriver and have new springs fitted.

I bought another Gretsch Rat Rod, putting it through its paces today.

It’s a flat metallic grey, but looks green I the photo for some reason

My 1975 Strat is 50 this year and I have owned it for 45 of those years. Probably not a great year for Strats but I’m so used to it that it works for me, takes some adjustment coming from a Gibson or PRS though. I’ve just put a Duncan Twang Banger in the bridge and am really liking it, definitely a fair number of steps towards Tele ness and I’m actually inclined to use that position now. The other pickups are Wizard Tweed Tones, sounds lovely now in all positions. At this stage there’s very little other than body or neck that’s stock. Bit of a ‘boat anchor’ but it’s my boat anchor :-)

Pacifica Professional again last night. Completely comfortable and familiar with it now - but it has taken a few outings to get there. Right now I’m thinking it may well be knocking my Strats off the number one slot (possibly even to the point of moving a Strat or two on to fund a second Pacifica Pro).

SE Bernie Marsden with Gotoh locking tuners, Bare Knuckle PG Blues, John Mann bridge and all new electrics.

The SE DGT behind it helps reset my ears from too much hollow mids. PRS locking tuners and a John Mann trem. Edit: Just remembered that I sanded the neck to a satin finish.

@kentuckyklira what is that?  My eyesight's too bad to read the headstock.

German luthier from Berlin, MGH. I play that in my Ozzy tribute band, so, sadly, a bit more often in the near future.

Btw, changed the nut to a black one.
