Current favourite squeeze, is the Daniel’s Jazzmaster into an Ac30-Tremlord stereo set up. It’s immense. This is early days though and yet to be gigged, but my word I want to gig this setup -it sounds so good!
A little bit of wee came out when I saw that lot!
This risks really upsetting you then…best grab the tissues. :)

As you can tell, I’m enjoying my week off work.  =)

Yesterday I was playing a partscaster.  Home made and finished alder body in Sherwood Green with mint green scratchplate and parchment pickup covers and knobs, Squier Classic Vibe 60s neck with Fender tuners, IronGear pickups (Pig Iron and Texas Loco in bridge), Wilkinson WVS50IIK bridge.  Although I finished the actual build a while back it's taken me a while to solder up the electrics and fit the scratchplate, string it up finally, and adjust the trem properly.  It sounds and feels great, but there were a few issues with the bridge compatibility for my body and it left a slight gap at one edge of the trem block cut-out that I had to patch in with a piece of wood and colour with green felt-tip pen seeing as I used all the lacquer during the build.  You can see it at the treble side of the bridge.  The bridge is really stable and holds tuning exceptionally well.

This one has been back in the workshop to have its neck re-profiled and shimmed. It is getting played whilst the new set-up is adjusted.

Oddly enough, a blue headless thing crossed my bows last night.  I don't tend to pick this up that often, but it made for a fun 30 mins.

Today, it's mainly been my beloved 1997 Haydn Williams custom 7-string:

@Svartmetall - popped along to see the man himself today, to get the nut cut on this for 11s.  So it's today's main guitar (and now my band #1, in D/drop-C):

Borrowing a different Gordon Smith for the weekend, this time it's the new Geist posh superstrat one. As I found with the Grande it's a great guitar, but it's confirming for me that I don't really need anything else other than my SG at the minute! Guess I'm just so used to the Gibson rounded profile that nothing else feels "right" in the hand any more. Also reminded me I really hate trems so it has put me off trying a DGT SE for the time being.

94 Les Paul standard, dragged out the case to clean it up and restring as it hasn’t seen the light of day for awhile. Still in tune, even the notorious G string lol. The R7 has mostly taken over but the old standard is still going strong…can’t believe it’s 30 years old now :0

Let us know if your luthier manages to turn the RDU* into a working vibrato system.

I've had a Semi in my hands for most of the day.  It's hard to beat a semi, so to speak  ;)

I just Googled it out of interest.  Looks very nice, but it's £2k and it isn't breaking any new ground.  Still, good to see a Brit manufacturer turning out a home-grown option.
