This is a 6G6 Bassman. It has the valve rectifier from the 6G6-A, the rest of the circuit is a 6G6-B.
There's an added mid boost switch, which gives a slight mid boost, negative feedback defeat and a master volume, which is transparent when fully up.
Just been serviced. I can share the invoice that shows the tech and what was done if you are serious.
Has used, but good Tungsol 6L6-GC and Tungsol and Harma 12AX7.
There are some scuffs to the tolex on the front, otherwise in decent cosmetic condition.
40watts I think - with the master up, it's plenty loud enough for any stage.
Normal channel sounds great, that's what I use. Starts to break up about 4 or 5 and gets into a nice crunch territory.
You would need a pedal for a lot of gain.
I have always been a little underwhelmed by the bass channel, it's a bit thin to my ears. But it is all correct, working and apparently the way this 6G6 circuit is. That said, the normal channel is where it's at for me.
I have enjoyed this amp for regular rehearsals and several gigs - moving this on because I have something very special being built.
I am in Hastings, sometimes travel through Woking, Guildford, Petersfield area.
Collection is preferred. I could perhaps drive to meet at cost, or might post if I must - but that would be at buyers risk.

Price now £850. I won't be going lower.
