Hey folks - seems to be a busy time of year with all that is going on:
Festivals, holiday season, school exams, Euro2024 football, Wimbledon, and next The Olympics

But I thought it was a great time to give an incentive to drop your guitars in for some TLC at Feline Guitars
So we are offering 10% off labour charges on all fretwork services from now till the end of July

We are doing this as part of of our repair shop rebranding for the workshop
Nothing is changing in essence of what we do , but we are trying to draw more attention to the fact that most of what we do is repair and servicing work

So we cooked up a logo to go with it

and I had some t shirts made for the team here, however I'm now thinking about having them for sale if people like and want them (Will have to get more printed in that case)

Front print is small and just on pocket area

back print is larger

We also had some reprints of our other two popular designs by Vince Ray

Many guitars have a re-sale value. Some you'll never want to sell.
Stockist of: Earvana & Graphtech nuts, Faber Tonepros & Gotoh hardware, Fatcat bridges. Highwood Saddles.

Pickups from BKP, Oil City & Monty's pickups.

I’ve still not worn the last frets out, but you’ve done a great job on all the guitars of mine that have been through your doors. Keep up the good work!

I have a guitar that passed through your hands recently. It's just flawless. That's it. That's my review.
Ten years too late and still getting it wrong

My '91 Steinberger is my favourite guitar to play after it was Feline'd. Legato and bends are easy and accurate on the giant Dunlop 6000 frets. Wish all my guitars had them!

I like the Dunlop 6000s too - when installed and finished off well, they are much more comfy than people expect.
Glad you are still having fun with the Steinberger.
I'm enjoying having a headless guitar in my life again since I got the Strandberg

I've 2 guitars I could do with some work.

1 a full refret and earvana nut
    1 a replacement earvana nut

But I don't live anywhere near.

Looking at from about £360 labour (subject to the discount )
Vintage Fenders where the frets have to come out sideways on the first refret need a bit of special care
About a week or so to turnaround

That is what Overland Express are for
    https://www.overlandexpress.co.uk/guitar-courier

We have had a lot of guitars very successfully shipped in for work - especially during our previous special offers

Packing the guitars carefully is the secret though - there are some good pointers on the Overland page

I have a Les Paul with some high frets which could do with a few dress. Do I need to book a time and date to drop it off, or just turn up during your opening hours?

    So do I!
My shoulder loves it for weighing 5lbs 13 oz and it’s stupidly resonant.

Wonderful thing brought back to life with Dunlop 6000s Mr Feline. Everyone that has played it always comments on the fretwork

I've been taking my guitars to Feline for maintenance, modding and repairs for the best part of 5 years now and am also the proud owner of a Lion, but had never had refret - until last week.

Whilst I'm all for keeping some guitars stock, those that I know I'm going to keep are fair game for modding if it means it'll increase my enjoyment of them, so this week Tom at Feline has been working on my Eric Johnson Rosewood Strat.

I wanted the neck to be more like the profile on my Suhr Pete Thorn, so the EJ has been re-shaped, re-radiused and refretted with jumbo stainless steel frets just like the Suhr. It's transformed the playability of the guitar and as expected from Feline, the fret work is absolutely perfect.

While he was at it Tom also installed a set of Suhr HSS pickups which also required some routing to accomodate the SSCII as I'd managed to snag a complete Suhr wiring loom from Reverb.

All in all it's made what was already a very fine Strat into one that fits me perfectly, and at a very reasonable cost - in fact with the Fretboard discount, I'd say the work the guys did was a bargain.

Huge thank you to Tom, and if anyone's on the fence about getting some work done by Jonathan and the guys, then I'd urge you to go for it - you won't be disappointed.
