Powers Electric - anyone played one?

I'm a sucker for the better mousetrap that these guitars purport to be. They came to UK dealers a few weeks ago...anyone tried or bought one?

Andy Summers is playing them on his latest tour - though he managed to misremember ‘Powers’ as ‘Masters’ in an interview - which probably isn’t the PR outcome they were hoping for….

I read an interview with Andy Summers where he said he was so blown away by the one he tried in a shop he ended up buying three. He was raving about them.

Such a terrible shame that he hasn't had much choice, or known anyone that might have been able to build a guitar for him that he really liked, before he tried Powers Guitars.
Poor bairn... he might have accomplished so much...

For anybody that isn't really keen on the body shape of the Powers guitars, take a look at this monstrosity of an "upcycled pine" guitar body and then go back to the Powers guitar.  I made the mistake of looking at that on eBay and now it pops up every time I search for guitar bodies.

Anyway, I didn't intend for my puerile comment and silly humour to pollute and derail the thread.

I was just jealous because the Powers guitars are well outside my budget.
