2001 National Reso-phonics Resonator Deluxe-O for sale

Hi all, I'm here trying to sell my father's 2001 National Resonator. Attached are some photos of the guitar, but please bear in mind that it's not been cleaned yet as we are awaiting the recommended Flitz Metal Polish to arrive in the post. I will update when it's fully cleaned.

Sorry Roland, I'm sure I had put it in Acoustics but I must've mistakenly not. 

Asking price is 2300 with some wiggle room.

As per Roland's advice (thank you), my father is selling the guitar because he simply does not play it anymore. It was bought for him by my mother way back in 2001 for his 40th birthday. It's in really fantastic condition, minus the fact that it just needs to be cleaned - if you've ever owned a resonator you'll know how difficult this can prove to be. 

The guitar is truly beautiful and as far as I'm aware, is a very unique one since the hand engraved body was done by a gentleman who no longer works with National. As the Deluxe-O edition, it naturally comes with the beautiful tropical sand blasted design, too.

I do think this is worth a bit more than asking , flagship model, brass body, lovely headstock, engraved back. AFAIK these are north of £4.5k new these days.

Hi Mgaw, thank you very much for your comment and thanks for posting the photos too. We spoke to a reputable guitar shop and they said that a ballpark price would be selling privately for 2.4k, approx.

May I ask where you've seen the £4,5k price mark?

If you look at Coda Music for example they have a good stock of Nationals there, compare the specs of yours to others.

It has also been cleaned up and looks miles better than these photos. Let me know if you want to see them.
