Hi folks,

*update* now looking for Dimarzio Chopper T!
Ideally in black, anyone have a spare kicking around in a parts drawer they wish to sell?

What make/model is your humbucker?

Do not be fooled by the DC resistance statistics for Broadcaster spec bridge position single coil pickups. 9 - 10 kiloOhms looks good until you remember that the rod magnets are Alnico 3 rather than Alnico 5. 

Your needs might be better met by an A5 pickup of 8.5 - 11k. e.g. Alegree Texan Dust Devil. (Other UK brands are available.)

If you are not fixated on traditional looks and twang, consider DiMarzio "Track" pickups. Ritchie Kotzen's signature Telecaster features The Chopper T model. Through A500k pots, this will retain some twang but, mostly, rock its ass off.

Oil City Pickups produces a twangy rails pickup. Investigate its specs on the OCP website.
