A fine sentiment, and also kind of explains why I’m not too fussed that I am not going: I know it wouldn’t be what I would want it to be - and that’s no slight on the band or the gigs, which I am sure will be great - just my headspace has moved on from the time this would have been HUGE for me.

The Liam gigs at Knebworth and DM tour werent, to the point it was like a crowd at V fest.

There are certainly plenty of middle aged men about..some in duffles coats/kagouls even though it’s red hot, plus women and lots of younger folk, all kinds. Every pub overflowing in the centre, bucket hats everywhere. Atmosphere similar to before a football match. I’m now making my escape to the peaceful suburbs, after tackling the train station in extreme event mode.

Some great tracks but incredibly overplayed - not the bands fault- and I don’t care to ever hear any of them again or at least for many years. I certainly wouldn’t pay for it!

I play in an Oasis tribute that has some links to the big name tributes, so we get a few of their cast off gigs all around the UK. Often at festivals the first few rows are all 14-20yo. All know the words and have the bucket hats. I guess they grew up listening to oasis in the back of their parents cars.
