This is the first up from what might end up being a fairly big clear out of lefty guitars that I really can't justify hanging onto. Strictly speaking, I think it's actually a VS6 but to all intents and purposes it's an SG, and a pretty good one at that. This is one of the earlier models with a more symmetrical double cutaway, as opposed to the current version, which  is rather more offset. Recently set up, it plays like a dream with a low, fast action on what feels to me like a pretty slim neck, although I've mainly been playing bass recently so pretty much everything feels like a slim neck to me!

No case but I do have a scruffy old gigbag for it, which will at least keep the dust off.

Collection welcome, not least because it'll save me the grief of trying to work out how to ship it safely without a hard case!

£150 plus shipping.

A leftie! You should mention that in the description.

These are fab guitars. You’d have to prize my one out of my cold dead hands.

To be fair, it is listed in the LH Guitars section.

I agree though, my VS6 is really nice too.  GLWTS!

It's a great guitar and I almost feel guilty for not bonding with it, but I'm approaching a point when I could use the space and the money more than keeping hold of something I never play. Ultimately, I reach for my scruffy old Tele or Strat and nothing else gets a look in. All the rest are in the same spare room where they've been the past couple of years since I moved house.

There'll be another four or five quality lefties to come after this one, just as soon as I can be arsed photographing and working out what to ask for them.

LH: Squier wide ranged Classic Vibe '50s Tele

I could never find a lefty Tele Custom so decided to make my own by taking a Squier Classic Vibe Tele in maple and butterscotch blonde and pimping it up with an Oil City Buccaneer wide range humbucker in the neck and a Wapping Wharf in the bridge. Both pickups are tapped/split with push/pull pots so there’s a huge range of tones available, all of which are very fine indeed. No case.

  • Got anything Strat-like you’re looking to sell?

Actually, I do... A lovely cream maple neck Tokai Goldstar Sound from the early 80s (1984, I think, but I'll need to check). I've not done pics or figured out a price for that yet but it'll be next up if anyone likes the sound of that.

  • Thanks for the reply.

No rush- I appreciate the time that goes into prepping this stuff. I’ll keep an eye on this thread.

    Best wishes.

Next up is a cream 1984 Tokai Goldstar Sound TST-55 in very tidy but age appropriate condition. The only bit that's non-original so far as I can tell are the straploks I put on. There's a very slim chance that I might unearth the original pegs, but I wouldn’t hold out much hope for that. Bought from Lefties in Leytonstone High St, it plays and sounds like a great Strat, as it should. Comes in a Hiscox case. This is the one I'm going to regret selling but needs must etc.

    £750 plus shipping.
