but anybody else think it's just ever so rushed in parts (and that unison bend clam at 3.08 ouch!).
Was it first night nerves or age (he is 78 so the vocals ain't exactly gonna be tip top either).
(I noticed the same in the Time solo in the rehearsal vid - ever so slightly rough).

For the most part he's hitting the marks (it's Gilmour for chrissakes)  and it's a 4 minute solo and perfection be damned..
I guess I'm used to hearing the near perfect versions on Delicate Sound of Thunder...

I thought the same and I'm a massive fan. Time isn't kind and at 78 he's still great but that's not the quality of playing he's famous for.

Yeah first time I heard some fluffs from him, but also I don't care about fluffs.

I don’t know how old some of you guys are but I’m 58 and can’t play the way I did when I was 28 thanks to getting old and the onset of arthritis. He’s 78 ffs. He’s allowed a few clams

Completely agreed. It was an observation, not a criticism. He still smashed it. 

That said I think I'm a much better guitar payer now than when I was 28 but much more to do with taste over chops.

Billed as a dress rehearsal in front of the fan club so not a 'gig' gig. Looks like several in the front row are A/V crew - guessing they might be filming the tour for DVD release so they're working out blocking before the shows start, but could also just be for media previews.
