The Bandcamp thread

It's Bandcamp Friday (when Bandcamp doesn't take a cut of purchases), which reminded me to make a thread for good music, newly released or not, available via the site.

Think it's worth having one separate from the various other music threads because I like to know when I have the option of buying music via a platform that doesn't rob artists blind.

Will post a few things to kick off, with YouTube videos as well as links to the relevant Bandcamp pages (so that people can listen in the thread).

Got the digital album and it's just behind Fontaines DC as my favourite album of the year. I'd say it's Sonic Youth-ish, but more modern with some shoegaze influences. @ewal is a fan too.

I blew my music budget partly on him weeks ago. Quite interesting to see someone else who knows about him! It just takes weeks for stuff to get out here........ They did Bandcamp Friday the week before payday. Annoying!

He's so good at it! Not ordinarily a Wu-Tang fan, but I find the best of the mash-ups endlessly entertaining.

Have a lot of time for GZA, though.
