Well, here it is........ my beautiful D-41, for sale.

This is an incredible guitar.  It has the presence of a piano, in my opinion.  I've never played a guitar like the D-41.
I was originally looking for a vintage dreadnought.  I was with my girlfriend and "popped" into a guitar shop while she was busy doing her thing.  I love the sound of rosewood back and sides and had tried alsorts of guitars.  Then I tried one of these.  The end.

I bought this from an Italian musician in Berkshire.  It was his pride and joy but he played electric predominantly.

Anyway, here it is.

Ebony fingerboard and bridge.
Abalone and mother of pearl inlays.
East Indian Rosewood back and sides.
Lovely shimmering spruce top.
Too many wonderful things to mention.
The neck angle is still fantastic.
There's plenty on the saddle too and the break angle is really good.

Gibson Southern Jumbo and dwindling space forces sale.

There a few tiny marks on it, mainly on the flat top.  They're very hard to photograph but when the next good weather comes I'll try and capture them.

I've had Alister make me a bespoke celluloid pickguard.
It cost me over £100 before the VAT but it's worth it.
It's just wonderful and finishes the guitar off, looks wise.
The original is included in the sale and I'm sure the next custodian could easily have it refitted.
