I just bought that Solo App by Tom Quayle & David BeeBee

What's Hot
It’s really good ,I knew a lot of my intervals ascending but found it difficult descending
It’s jolly good fun to play with & you soon end up having them embedded in your head
After a while . I’d highly recommend it to anyone who needs this type of knowledge .
You can work on finding notes , working on single or multiple intervals , finding intervals on chordal progressions etc . It’s quite accessible to anyone

if you like the sound of it look at some videos on YouTube to see if it would be suitable

  • Ahh that’s a shame , he did address this on a recent video , it wasn’t apparently selling very well on Android . I’m using it on an iPad . I don’t use a mobile but I do have an old iPhone that I use as a portable camera/video camera/portable computer etc .

Now there is an Android version for it and it seems to work well.

I wish there was such help like this app and YouTube a very long time ago, when I started to learn to play guitar.  For too many years I got stuck strumming just a few chords and wondered why I couldn't learn my favourite songs.  Coming from a poor family I never had an opportunity to get private lessons and missed out on this joyful hobby.  Now I realise that jazz chords can add beautiful flavours to some genres of music and that has been key to some of my favourites.
Solo is a wonderful app, your private tutor if you like, that listen to what you play and waits for you until you play the right notes. I like the fact that I could learn one of many jazz standards while learning the scales.
It's fun!  I have purchased both, the Android and Mac version, this allows me to quickly pick up the already prepared guitar when at home and the Android version on my phone while on the move.

    Well worth it to me..
