Godin Doyle Dykes Signature Multiac Steel - SOLD

This is a signature edition of Godin's Multiac series. It's a 'normal' steel string acoustic designed for stage performance as the construction is a little different from the average acoustic. The top is spruce and responds like a traditional soundboard, but the back/sides are a chambered mahogany more like an electric. The neck is a bolt on, Fender style, which makes for relatively easy action changes for an acoustic.

I was drawn to it because of the LR Baggs Lyric internal microphone which can be blended with the soundboard transducer to taste. The onboard preamp handles treble/middle/bass, volume, mic blend and can reverse the phase. There's also a tape saturation control to add some extra warmth.

A stage and recording oriented instrument is less of a need for me now than it was, and it'd be great to see this guitar get some well deserved use as it's lovely.

Condition is good, the gloss black has some swirl marks as you'd expect, and there's a little fret wear in the traditional first few positions on the high strings.

The Godin gig case is included (it's sort of a bag, but it's hard like a case really - it's fitted to the instrument), which means postage might be an option. Collection from Maidstone, Kent very much preferred, and I'm open to meeting mid-way or delivering a reasonable distance.
