As far as I'm aware I'm the third owner. Long story short the first owner had it in storage for most of its life, the second owner bought on a whim and put back up for sale, and I've had it for around three years. Anyway, it's lack of use for a 50-year-old guitar shows. There's barely a mark on it. There is a slight dip to the top but nothing that affects its playability.
FWIW Taurus were commissioned by Ramirez back in the day to build their student models, so clearly a highly regarded workshop. More info can be found
here. From the label it was made in either 1971, '74, or '77 – I can't quite make out which.
Overall, this is a wonderful and well made classical guitar. It plays and sounds great. Reason for sale is I no longer have the enthusiasm for classical, so I'm moving it on for someone else to enjoy.
£395. This is a steal IMHO. I would argue you'd need to spend double or more to get a modern day equivalent.
Collection from Hull area preferred. Alternatively, with a contribution to my fare, I'm happy to travel a reasonable distance on the train, should it help.
