Anyone else looking to sell their Sugarland or Starwood?
This is one of the amps I was offered. However, it is a little older than I wanted (2019) and misses some of the mods that Mark made to them in 2020/22.
It is an absolutely beautiful amp, and the clean sounds are fabulous, both Tweed and Black Panel. But I'm struggling to find breakup sounds that I prefer. I think this is due to the Tweed nature of the amp, and I much prefer Marshall sounds.
Don't get me wrong, this an absolutely great amp, unfortunately not for me.
So I'm going to relist it this afternoon - anyone that was originally interested in it, please drop me a line.

I chatted with Chris directly earlier as well.
I’ve spent three days trying to dial it in.
I understand that it’s not a traditional tone stack, and I believe I understand the basic concept. For instance, rough approximations are TB = 5/5 approximates Tweed, TB = 10/10 ~ Black Panel, TB = 4/2 ~ Marshall. I’ve watched countless videos on how the preamp works (I found James on Guitar to be the best walkthrough). I started with Mark's suggestions and then worked through James' ideas as well. I've found BF (10/9) and Tweed 6/6 to be great cleans.
I can get it to breakup no problem with the Master volume, but not quite liking the breakup sounds.
I’m not looking for high gain Marshall sounds. I only play with it just breaking up,
I will sit down with the Sugarland again later today and see where I get to.
Thanks
I've got around 12 gigs on it already and I've been using mini humbuckers and humbuckers for gigs but it sounds equally great with single coils. I've found the suggested settings do need a bit of tweaking to allow for your particular guitar/pickups. I didn't like the suggested Marshall setting but found my own which sounds fantastic!
