Thanks man but that’s above my budget. There’s a fantastic local luthier near me who makes guitars for Katherine Priddy (no idea myself but I’m told she’s pretty well known). He’s within budget but I really want the Martin. I’m thinking of buying new which will sting!!!

The selling prices of used guitars seem to be extremely low at the moment so I would hang on until you see one. It may take a while as a lot are priced too high but are not selling. Look at Ebay, Reverb and Gumtree and you see the same guitars for sale for weeks on end before the seller realises and reduces the price.

Any particular reason for wanting the Re-imagined version.

I’ve ordered a 000-18 from Mear and Gray too!

@Ditchboy, I don’t know what your budget is, but I have a Martin OM28 Marquis listed on here. It’s a big step up from the reimagined series and there’s room to move on the price.

Only one OM28 re-imagined and it’s miles away and dinged.

Not close sadly as it looks a lovely guitar.

I very much like the Martin OM28 but I think I am right in saying that the nut width is 1 3/4" on all models, even the older ones. I am only aware of the John Mayer model that is 1 11/16" but it seems you have to pay a premium price just to have the name associated with the guitar.

Not sure about that. 1 3/4 is what I prefer though. Sorted now thanks to some persistence and a little bit of good will. Managed to get one for what I sold my previous one for!
