Most of us think before we start typing, so we don't have the problem of abandoned drafts...

I would far rather have my drafts saved every couple of seconds than have my typed text disappear irrecoverably when I hit the submit button and something falters with the site or connectivity, as happens on some forums without the draft saving functionality.  I do agree with Emp_Fab in that you have to be deadly accurate in clicking or touching the X to delete a draft.  Of course the worse that happens is that the draft just reopens in the thread for editing, which isn't what you could really call a major inconvenience to most people.

I don't think such people would capitalise "high".

I'm never sure about the use of the apostrophe for plurals of acronyms or initials either.

Having looked it up, plurals of acronyms and initials should not include an apostrophe.

I therefore believe that @axisus's use of smug mode was not merited.

Similarly I sometimes attempt to delete a quote in a draft and end up stuck with a blue font as per the person quoted username.

 First off, having a high IQ allows you to solve problems with a wide range of cognitive skills, such as reasoning, logic, and problem-solving, there is no grammar element!

Also, I think that you are giving too much credit to having a high IQ! I kept a clipping from an 80s newspaper story where members of MENSA were found wandering the street outside the Natural History Museum. It was their AGM and apparently they could not find the entrance!
