Trade for a Tom Anderson Classic HSS
CAA PT 100 is in excellent condition, made by Suhr, designed by Suhr and Bradshaw. £1500.
Clean, Crunch and Drive although the Crunch channel is all I need so I use the drive Channel for lead as it has independent gain and volume controls.
Resonance whomp, presence, Feedback and overall master volume on the back.
Back panel included, removed for pics.
Serviced this week with a new quad of EL34’s.
This was the original Pete Thorn model, not why I purchased it though, it’s a great gigging or home amp. I used to gig CAA OD 100 SE+ heads but the PT100 is more aggressive, more British sounding and way more flexible with the 3rd channel.
I found the newer Suhr PT100 very flat sounding, this is anything but flat.
Cover and foot switch also included.
If it’s so damned good why am I moving it on?
Im not going to gig anymore so I’m only holding it for sentimental reasons and I’d like to play with a simpler midi set up and I have a new Mesa Boogie TC-50 to play with.
CAA 2x12 cab
2x12, V30 and a Creamback M,
A handle added to the top by Essex amp repair so that it’s carried and used horizontally rather than vertically.
A rare beast
