Chase Me ! Duncan Norvelle

What's Hot
Sad to see that he has died at the age of 66. I always thought he was a little camp with his catch phrase "Chase Me"
“Ken sent me.”

  • Just looking at his Wikipedia page he had a stroke in 2012 and has struggled with his health since.
I do remember him as a guest on various things and that he hosted the pilot of what became Blind Date, could have been the thing that made him more of a household name but was not to be.
    RIP.

^^  Are all the windows blocked off with different colours of board or card?  That's a bit odd.

How very peculiar.  I've honestly never heard of him.

    RIP nevertheless.

No disrespect to him intended, but if you can find one video of him going "Chase me" that's basically his entire career.

He did a lot of TV in the late 80s but his camp/faux gay act was a bit dated even then. He did a lot of touring and pantomimes and that kind of thing, I don't know if his act changed over time. Despite counting Lee Anderson MP as a fan Duncan seems to have been a nice and likeable man, leaving behind his wife and three children.

Lee Anderson probably thinks Al Murray's pub landlord is a real person.

Yes, he was one of those variety-show type comedians whose dated style was swept away when ‘Alternative Comedy’ made its welcome arrival.

Yeah without being unfair, he was shite, his act basically being ooh aren't poofs funny! I was more surprised that he's only 14 yrs older than me to be honest.

His type of comedy was a bit Jim Davidson really. Mocking, creating and maintaining stereotypes.

I watched that the other day.  What really struck me is that it's very hard to hear what he's saying, it all seems so awkward.
