Ah these are fabulous, I put a set of them into a Maton MS-500 years ago and they were just brilliant. Unfortunately I don't have much need for them at the moment else I'd grab this set again too

I am not sure if chrome or nickal? I’ll check under the better light in the daytime. Yeah they have been used before. I bought from a pickup winder guy on eBay a while back.

These are pretty expensive new, I wouldn’t be arsed either way for the price but what do I know

No complaints re price, it’s just that they would be going in an all-nickel guitar.

It’s OK, I’ve ordered a new set.

The difference is fairly obvious if you put them next to chrome hardware, chrome has a blue-ish glow while nickel is sort of grey. They also age differently so the difference is way more obvious down the line.

What flavour of T-style pickups do you seek? Fifties, Sixties, "hot", noise-cancelling?

I have assorted Alegree, Oil City, DiMarzio, Duncan, Fender and Warman units stashed away. Just need to check which models they are.

Oh nice one man. Was looking at 64s the Fender ones but anything in that ball park. Even quality 50s would be fine, just want some good quality ones with good Tele tones.
