I was lucky to have seen him in the Tygers of Pan Tang and a couple of times in the post-Lynott Thin Lizzy. He was never my favourite Lizzy guitarist but I appreciated what he did for their last album and tour and the energy and excitement he injected into them and how he carried their legacy on for a bit after PL's death but boy. I loved his playing and writing on Whitesnake's '1987'!!!
RIP JS
Oft underrated methinks but I liked his playing style.
Never saw him live with Lizzy though.

Loved the Blue Murder album, and of course, Lizzy with him. RIP.

The yard is nothing but a fence, the sun just hurts my eyes...
He'd been out of the spotlight for so long that I thought we might never hear from him again, but I certainly wasn't expecting this.
