I'm really impressed with the sounds from the Lion. So much so, I've bought two of them to run side by side

I can get all the sounds i need from it for gigging, but having two means i don't have to keep tweaking one pedal. You have a "live" sound and can recall a saved "preset" per pedal.
What i can't figure out is how to turn off the bright cap with the "live" sound. I can see how to do it when adjusting the saved preset, but don't seem to be able to do it with "live". I'm assuming you can't but would appreciate any help.
Other than this, and the super annoying bluetooth phone app, it's a cracking pedal. Definitely the best Marshall "amp in a pedal" I've played/heard. Probably the best live (through pa and frfr) sound i've had with a modeller/pedal etc.

My big problem with it is the manual states that you can look in the app at all your settings but you can't. When switching from live to preset and back the knobs aren't representative of where they were/are, I was hoping the app would show the settings the knobs were at when the preset was made (as implied by the manual). As much as I like it this is a bit of a deal breaker for me. I can barely remember which way i'm facing nevermind what the knob positions where. It might have to go back.
The "not being able to see settings" is a pain. I ended up taking a photo so i can always get back to it! It's a faff but one i'm happy to put up with for the sounds this pedal delivers. It's probably the happiest i've been with my live sound.
I'm well beyond the honeymoon period for this thing.
Here are my thoughts
The app is rubbish.
The pedal's sounds are great, especially how it responds to volume pot tweaks.
It's quite expensive but has fallen in price.
There's a few too many design compromises to make it fit in their existing pedal casing, most notably the lack of a headphone out, which would have made this thing a really, really solid practice tool.
I use mine on my desktop through an interface and in to a pair of studio monitors.
It can get a really good recorded tone straight to my iphone's camera with no fuss and it's also great at piping in audio to a video call. Probably the main reason why I still have it.
As with a lot of UA stuff there's lots to like but I'm left with lots of "why didn't they do that..." thoughts
edit: I notice Phil X used one as a pedal platform at NAMM this year for his live spot. I think he had to go straight in to the PA.
It does work quite well as pedal platform too.
