Had a play on that yesterday. Very nice.
Long wait till '26!
We also liked some of the pricier Gordon Smiths - very impressive.
Longbottom - amazing British (Yorkshire) electrics
Yamaha Pofessionals (particularly the Revstar) are soooo good. The neck profile and fretwork is the first thing that’s impressed me the way EBMM do for that.
And I got a MXR black “coily cable of good lovin’ “
Maybe include some more clothing, things like wrist bands, more modern metal band t shirts, posters etc, not directly guitars but make good low budget gift items for folk.
While it appears we had exactly the right number of pedalboard kits (only a couple left, like last year), it seems that I badly underestimated the demand for the neck rests...we sold out by lunchtime on the Saturday! I figured that their popularity last year was just because they were free for members, but...well, apparently not. My wife has now decided that she's in charge of stock levels next year.
Had a minute or so with the Korina Dakota One on @IvisonGuitars stand that had me gassing hard and pondering any number of potential explanations to the management on my return home.
In the end I came away with an Orange Terror Stamp (to go in the gig bag as an emergency backup) and a Blackstar Fly for my son.
Roll on next year.
Overall, I'd be interested to hear how well the vendors got on. I didn't see a lot of money being spent - these are difficult times for a lot of people.
Bristol next month - always some obscure stuff there, and it's half the journey time
