Always liked her, not so much her music but her personality.  She had some shit times but never seemed to have an ounce of self-pity and was refreshingly honest and unapologetic about stuff that most people would have tried to hide.  RIP to one of the most likeable of the 60s icons.

To be honest I know very little of her as a singer - Other stories appeared to make her a ‘bigger’ star - I don’t mean that in a negative way- Just her name has come up so many times in biographies I’ve read

Sounds like she has not had an easy life - So hopefully she can now rest in peace

Wow - I've never heard or seen that before - she's got stage presence - just the way she stands says 'f*ck you I am going to be myself'..... and your right - she is really putting that song across...... its hard to conceive of what it must have taken to get to this point. I am going to have a look at some of her stuff. RIP Marianne
