There not all going to play full sets but even a few songs each would be the best lineup ever!

Last time I saw sabbath was that Hyde Park show where the tickets were £1.

Seeing my buddies in Hang The Bastard playing one of the side stages was a highlight of my musician life.

Ah yes the theatre show. Just enough time to shuffle off and spend a penny, before returning to one’s seat with a a small tub of ice cream. Perfect afternoon out. ;)

Looking like £200 for a standard ticket, £425 for a posh ticket and presumably even posher versions available.

Not going to lie, I'm going to be doing everything I can to get a ticket for this. Ozzy is unlikely to be in much of a condition to perform and will I'm sure be resorting to KISS-style 'digital assistance'. The rest of the line up is outrageous though. What a show this will be.

@EricTheWeary ; where are you sourcing that info from? with a week to go until they go on sale I can't find any early indication of price..
    My trading feedback

is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?

Birmingham What’s On although it’s not evidenced (whatever word I’m searching for there) so may well be tosh. If something is repeated often enough I do seem to believe it.
Pre sales are on the 13th (of course!) so if you are joining the queue on the 14th the confirmed prices will be known.

My hot take (and not trying to be an "edgelord" - see - I'm down with the kids! ) if this is intended to be a celebration of Black Sabbath then great line-up aside - it would appear that Sabbath's legacy was mostly felt on the other side of the Atlantic.
Were there no British bands on Sharon's rolodex? No NWOBHM?

    Also no Zakk Wylde?

And though there's a nod to Faith No More with their drummer in the line-up - if you had to name any act descending from Sabbath it would be them? Are they not touring?

I like your logic, but I expect Sharon's thinking will be that having Metallica & Pantera on the bill will probably shift more tickets than Cloven Hoof & Witchfinder General.

He's on the 'supergroup' list I've seen. He'll presumably be playing with Pantera as well, so is pretty much guaranteed to be there.

Hopefully Bill Ward is going to be okay for this.  I can’t remember the last time he played live, and apparently the last time he rehearsed with Sabbath there were issues.  It would be a shame if he just hopped in for a few songs and then handed drum duties over to a dep.

I'd rather see them although the chances of WFG and Zeeb are slimmer than ozzy jumping this time. Also, who even sings for the hoof now?

You're far and away the person most likely to know that, but apparently it's Harry "The Tyrant" Conklin.  I don't know who exactly suffers under his tyranny....  Wow, they've had more lineup changes than The Outlaws.

Oh, it's the guy from Jag Panzer.  Not a band I've ever listened to very much.  Presumably the Cloven Hoof relationship is a long distance one!

Sharon has been explaining that Ozzy can no longer walk but can sing. It does feel like a slightly muted affair.

I guess further down the bill doesn't really matter in terms of ticket sales but Shazza will be thinking of the worldwide TV rights so Sammy Hagar probably has more appeal than Witchfinder General in that regard. Although KK Downing's name is on the list and these days he's probably no longer an A list metal celeb.
