Ordered mine first thing this morning, I'm looking forward to getting these. There's headphones will be the perfect antidote to the all night boredom of my insomnia and will hopefully fit perfectly in the pocket of a decent gig bag if I want to go away somewhere and on that note, can anyone tell me if the Gator GT Transit gig bag is really as good as the reviews are making out? It looks perfect but I trust people's opinions on here a lot more than the usual "real" reviews online elsewhere.
Tomorrow will be a good day.

  • Brilliant solution aren’t they . I had a gator transit for my green crackle jackson they’re very well made  I used to always buy SKB semi rigid bags but the zip broke on one of those . I bam very fond of my TGI extreme though too . Although I’ve stopped going to jam nights etc now so they haven’t had so much use

Yes these headphones are going to be perfect for me to get the practice in I so sorely need right now. Thank you for the reply about the Gator, I just need something I can put everything in and carry left handed seeing as I cannot weight bare on the right at the moment. I love the fact that my rehabilitation team are using guitar playing as my gateway to a "normal" life again! Perfect!
Tomorrow will be a good day.

  • The Boss Waza Air are one of the best purchases I’ve ever made, even with the clunky app… these seem like they might be much better in that regard and quite a bit cheaper.

One of the big features of the Waza Air is the processing they apply to make it sound as though you are in the room with the amps.  Whereas normal headphones just blast the signal into your ears in stereo, the Waza Air apply some clever reverb and 3D sound imaging to make it sound as though you are hearing the sound output from an amp in the room with you.  I haven't heard of anything similar with the Spark NEO, or am I mistaken?  If not, I suspect the Waza Air might still have the advantage.

Lots of positive reviews from buyers on the Spark groups on FB. A couple mentioned that they are heavier than other headphones including the Waza Air so after a while maybe a slight discomfort if not taking a break.

Something that put me off was that it only has 4 presets. I assume you can go into the app and change them. I like the Boss Katana Go as there’s 30 presets on the unit itself and I don’t have to touch an app. Hate the things

This is Thomann's review.  No reference to any gyroscope / 'in the room' type ambiance, and so it looks like that remains the key USP for the Waza Air

Yes! I’ve been waiting for this. The spark app is very intuitive and the AI features are great. This could replace my entire headphone pedalboard rig! I’ll check out the reviews tomorrow.

Mine turned up yesterday, nothing short of brilliant! This is going to be a game changer when I can finally walk down to the river again and play without disturbing a single soul. The only thing that's annoyed me is both the headphones and the receiver obviously need charging but only one single usb-c cable is supplied so you have to either already have one or spend five hours in total charging the two.
Tomorrow will be a good day.

You must be the only household that doesn't have at least 10 times the amount of cables you actually need :-D I'm definitely going to give these a try. My Waza's were great until they broke but didn't think they were worth the cost of replacement.

Received mine. Ordered directly from Spark. I'm more than pleased with the purchase.

It's all I currently use of my Spark Mini, in headphone format. I do think there's probably a little tweaking that will need to be done to some of my presets to better work with headphones. More reverb will help, and the gate seems overly aggressive for some reason so I've turned it off completely for some presets. It's a little fiddly to set the guitar vs app volume for jam tracks and YouTube play-a-longs, but it works.

I'm pleased overall. If you have a Spark product it's a no-brainer. If you don't, I think it's very good but I've not used the Waza Air.

Apart from the obvious convenience factor, does anybody know how it compares to katana go + good headphones ?
