1964 Original Guild F-212 12-String for sale, no breaks cracks or repairs. Very good condition with lots of genuine wear and scuffs from playing over the 6 decades. It has the white Hoboken label and is the early style of pick guard and general design. The spruce top is natural, the back, sides and neck are a nice cherry colour which shows off the grain of the mahogany. The neck is straight, with a flat fingerboard and a chunky large profile, but is very playable. There is minimal string pull behind the bridge, and the action is medium, as it left the factory. Original tuners. The case has no name but looks like a Guild case. Check out the photos for general condition. Tonally the guitar is very loud and balanced. It is normally tuned down a tone to ease string tension, and then used with a capo, but basically you could tune and play it however you like, of course. I would say that it doesn't play as easily as something like a modern Yamaha, but that isn't what it is. All of the effort you put in is rewarded by a lovely vintage sound.
