And gone mad and ordered Pro VS Mini too. Gas done and constraints set for the year.
Now you just need a mixer, and a sequencer, and a drum machine, and ...

No! Maybe an interface with more inputs though...

I try to keep hardware and DAW totally separate. The Zoom L6 looks good though.

Can be a DAWless mixer and an audio interface in one compact box.

This is for cottage trip with daughter. Thought long about the DAWless option and it's something I might experiment with at a later date. For this particular trip, I think a hybrid approach is best.

The Pro X is good because it's hands on with a decent sequencer so you can easily create a bass line to jam over etc.

So switched the Pro X and the Mini on for the first time today and stepped through the presets. The Pro X sounds massive!! Sequencer and arp are brilliant. Lots to dig in to. In comparison, the Mini does look and sound like a toy, but I know it'll be good once I've got some post FX and better amplification. Although I do sort of wish I'd dug about for a 2nd synth of the Pro X's quality. No worries - the Mini was very cheap.

    Thanks for the heads up!
