With 8 of us committed to the Autumn Jam in principle, thought we could start discussing date options. To get us started, how is everyone fixed the last two weeks of September/first two weeks of October?

I'm currently free on the following dates:

Sept: 20 (Sat), 21 (Sun) , 27 (Sat), 28 (Sun)
Oct: 4 (Sat), 5 (Sun), 11 (Sat)

I'd prefer to avoid Oct 12, as I go to a blues jam every second Sunday of the month, but I could make it, if that's the day that suits everyone else.

Thought I would suggest Mr Big by Free as a potential new track for our next jam. The track allows drums, bass, guitar and vocals to shine in equal measure. Could be a candidate for the final song as it lends itself to jamming (we could all play like we did last time) and multiple improvised solos.

I'm happy to do vocals for Mr Big but, as with any of the songs that I'd be down to sing, if others want a crack at singing them, I'm happy to step aside or do backing vocals.

I've added you on vocals for now.

The main thing at the moment is to get enough roles to play the song at least once. We can then shuffle things around, or do multiple run throughs with people in different roles.

On the above point, I'm happy to do guitar or bass on 'Come Together' and 'Mr Big'.

I should be OK for 'More Than A Feeling', but need to give it a proper listen. Plus we'll need enough guitars to cover at least two harmony parts.

I can’t do 20/21 sept.
I am ok for 11 Oct.

I think I'm good for any of them. That doesn't mean that something like a vital kids birthday party won't come along and mess it up, but in theory I'm good at the moment. Sooner I get it in the calendar the better though!
