in the same vein as Lil' Devil, Gold On The Ceiling is a track we have played before with @mrkb on drums. Having played 2nd guitar previously, I would like to try gtr 1 this time if we can get a full line up together?

I've added Gold On The Ceiling.

I've also removed 'Bark At The Moon' for now, as we don't have a drummer for that one.

with just under two months to go it seems an appropriate time to encourage everyone to take another look at the list of 13 tracks (mostly new) that have been proposed so far, as currently only track has a full line-up.

Just a quick one on More Than A feeling which Norm has proposed. It seems there is scope for up to three guitars on this track, one acoustic and two electric, but believe the harmonised solo can be played by one electric if the person playing it knows what they are doing!

Honestly, my diary is pretty free, aside from a family event on October 11th. FWIW, I can do the 12th.

That said, my four chords are hardly pivotal - so I may just have to catch up at the next get together.

Everyone: with just 6 weeks to go could you please let the group know if there are any roles you can take for the songs currently on the list, and also, what songs you would like added from our 'back catalogue'

Ok, I've checked my calendar and I can be there. I can definitely cover the bass on anything I've played in the past, and I'll look over the others to see what extra songs I can manage.

 @Brocco should I add the songs that @Norm, @mart and @mrkb played on last time. That should get us a long way there. If necessary, we could drop some later, if we want to substitute some new ones.

wanted to suggest an easy additional track that I half-mentioned at the last jam, namely Knock on Wood. Specifically the David Bowie version, which he recorded with a blues rock kind of feel (there is even a shuffle section). The track appeared on several Bowie live albums and was also released as a single in 1974. There is scope to add a solo over the outro if there is appetite to include the track.

I'm currently down for 2nd guitar on Gary Clark Jnr's version of Come Together, but on a quick watch of a tutorial, it seems to be mostly a single guitar affair?

@Brocco and everyone. Sincerely big apologies but I've just found out that I can't make the 11th October.

A good friend died recently, and I received an email this morning saying that there's a Celebration of his life on the 11th October.

Is it possible to rearrange? Otherwise go ahead without me.
