Ive been searching but can’t find a step by step guide anywhere. OK on a Mac but not on an IPad.
Could really do with help here.

Moving files around on an iPad is surprisingly difficult, if not impossible sometimes, especially if those files are embedded in an application. It's a massive failure by Apple who prided themselves on (and delivered) ease of use for many years.

PS. Google AI says - To relocate the Logic Pro for iPad Sound Library to an external SSD, you'll need to use the "Relocate Sound Library" feature within Logic Pro. First, ensure you're logged into your iPad as an administrator. Next, connect the SSD to your iPad via a USB-C cable (or with a Lightning adapter for older iPads). Then, open Logic Pro, go to "Sound Library > Relocate Sound Library," and select your external SSD as the new location. Logic Pro will then move the Sound Library to the chosen SSD, freeing up space on your iPad.

I've no idea if this is good advice as I do not use Logic.

Thanks but that won't work on the ipad, just on the desktop. Bloody AI search results!

You may have luck with program like Syncios or some other data transfer phone software

I suspect the problem would be getting the app to dynamically read and write content files from a source other than that sandboxed by apple. Could be worth a try though.

I may well involve diving down to the underlying OS layer and changing dynamic links, etc which is not easy on ipad. If it's not in a menu option like it is on Logic for Mac it is probably not possible.

Yes. I thinks its well beyond my pay grade. I’ll just minimise the libraries and save my files off iPad. Thanks for all the advice folks.
