Today's ads are for Tendermeets, a dating site that seems to be widely regarded as a scam.

Well, the ads got more office-friendly for a while but today there’s one about Amish women. 

I’m going to stop using the site on my iPad. (My PC seems fine.)

If I want to look for smut or tittle-tattle I’ll do so of my own accord but I am here to discuss musical and guitar matters.

Slight revival. I was setting up a new iPad & when going to TFB page to sign in I noticed that there were ads. Quite interesting ones about large bosomed 'teacher photos are feast for your eyeballs'  
It can't be from browsing data as I didn't have any.
It's it normal to see ads for TFB before signing in?

Isn’t it based to a degree on your IP. who else uses your WiFi? Maybe your neighbour’s logged on and is now being plagued with Fender ads.

Well, they're based on demographic data too, which they usually get from your cookies (yes, it's circular logic).

But yes, guest users see all the ads (top, side and bottom). Signed-in users see top and side, subscribers see none.
