Sold - PRS CU22 (core model), 2003 - £1500 now £1450 (from Nottingham)

(Lots of packaging available to ensure safe postayge if required)

Trades? I have one trade option, which is to trade this towards a Patrick James Eggle Macon Jnr with a bit of cash to add.

This really is a special guitar.

In terms of spec, this is all standard stuff: mahogany body, carved maple top, mahogany set neck, rosewood board, bird inlays, Dragon II pickups, phase 2 locking tuners, original wiring with the 5 way rotary, PRS compensated hardtail bridge..

I've had a few core PRS and this is certainly as good as any of them, if not the best in terms of playability - the wide thin neck and lowish action just make it such a pleasure to play.

The guitar comes with it's original case and case candy, eagle tag etc., even the original purchase receipt from 2004!

What may set this example apart from others, is the condition - it's pretty much mint - no dings or scratches anywhere. Allegedly, the original owner put cling film or something similar on the back of the body to protect it - whatever the truth, this guitar has been extremely well looked after and the only mark I can find is a small pinprick indentation on the rear belly contour plus some natural aging to the metal bits.

The case has signs of wear consistent with doing a good job.
