where do i begin trying to learn autograph turn up the radio solo?

What's Hot
am very excited to hopefully be buying a lovely charvel guitar from the gentleman @Whitecat next friday (he has very kindly held onto the guitar for us while i paid a deposit). this bad boy guitar https://thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/284875/fs-charvel-san-dimas-style-1-hss-sassafras-sale-pending#latest

anyhoo i want to try and learn a tune befitting the guitar and love autograph turn up the radio. the trouble is i am no shredder (i love shredder guitars though).

how might you suggest i try to learn this solo as it is definitely way out of my skill level for sure ha.

solo starts at 3:13.

did i mention i cannot wait to get the charvel :-D

Ben Eller posted a tutorial a few hours ago. Is this a weird coincidence?

I was just wondering the same! I haven’t done much of his stuff lately, but his video for Now You’re Gone by Whitesnake helped me nail the tapping part that initially felt impossible

Perhaps he's a 'plant' for Uncle Ben :)

Yes, I like his tutorials and humour. He helped me nail the solo to 'Just What I Needed'. When I say 'nail', that's a bit of an exaggeration, because I still have to practice it, if there's a situation coming up when I need to play it.

    It's not a competition.

I was going to say slow it down with Audacity or whatever but even better.
