1. Vintage 1970s Gibson Firebird Hard Case – Black Tolex, Gold Logo, Deep Red Interior

For sale is a genuine 1970s Gibson Firebird hard case, dating from around 1975. This is the correct vintage rectangular Firebird case, with all the right features:

  • Black tolex exterior with gold Gibson script logo

  • Yellow piping around the edges

  • Deep red plush interior (not purple/magenta) with a large accessory compartment

  • Original drawbolt latches and riveted hinges, all in working order

  • Structurally solid, all hardware functional

  • Normal cosmetic wear for a 50-year-old case, but still protective and reliable

  • Interior is mostly clean but has a rip as can be seen. However, still functional.


£100 if collected in person in Northampton
(A fair price for a genuine 1970s Gibson Firebird case — well below typical market value, which is often £150–£250).

Selling a genuine Epiphone Firebird hard case, perfect for Firebird guitars. This sturdy case features a plush-lined interior, accessory compartment, rugged latches, and a secure carrying handle.
