Before I get the video for this done for Youtoob, thought I would post here for anyone that has seen these and been curious.

So Ghost Note Audio have been smashing social media recently with the new Swirls pedal. It's Valdemar's take on the 80's chorus sound which I love dearly and use a decent amount in a few of the projects I work with so I got hold of one.

The basic concept is tri stereo chorus with multi voice detune and a rack compressor all in one. Why take 3 bottles into the shower etc. First plug in and it wasn't quite set to my liking but.a couple of tweaks and a quick manual reference for the secondary features and we were away. Yes, it does the thing. Definitely needs something like a solid state or direct clean tone to be really authentic but it has "that" sound. The chorus is lush, the detune can get a bit much but is more than capable and the compressor has plenty of scope for uber squish or something a little more subtle.

Build quality is great. It feels solid and sturdy with a good bit of reassuring weight to it.

The board I am about to build (current working title the unnecessary board) had a TC SCF on there. This will replace it for sure.

I play guitar and take photos of stuff. I also like beans on toast.
