Can't embed images

Hi, 

I've done this successfully many times in the past.....for example the imgBB site.  Now when I upload and try to paste in the image url to the attach image/file widget, nothing happens.

I've tried the same with iCloud and Google shared links.

Any ideas what's going wrong?

If you're on desktop/laptop, right click the image and select 'copy image address' or similar - then paste that into the box.

that works, thank you.....no idea why the old method doesn't

No probs!

Someone on here recently - I think it was @RaymondLin - made the distinction that you need to link to the image, not the link to the webpage, for the forum software to do its thing and embed properly.
