SOLD 1970s DiMarzio set

I had this manky but functioning old DiMarzio set reconditioned by Ash at Oil City and given a clean bill of health

1970s DiMarzios pre-date wax potting so I had Ash gently pot them for me. Say what you like, nothing ruins your tone like microphonic feedback

Ash also fitted a four-conductor hookup wire to the neck pickup at my request. The original hookup was knackered. The bridge pickup comes with braided two conductor hookup so it is phase-reversible

The baseplate holes are worn on both pickups but they come with fitting mounting screws. Was a bit of a mission finding those

After all that faffing I decided I prefer the sound of modern equivalents - but I am a meat head, so there you go

Neck measures 7.66k, 27cm hookup wire

Bridge measures 13.33k, 20cm hookup

Price-wise I'll go with £90ea + post, or £170 posted for the set

SOLD Bourns Pots - Long Shaft 19mm


Ordered long shaft by mistake. But they'll be perfect for someone

4x A250k solid shaft (I know, I know)
2x B500k split knurled

If you haven't used Bourns pots they have a low turning force but at the same time stay well and truly put. I'd put them on everything if I could, guitars, household appliances, beloved pets etc

Each comes with 2x washers and 2x nuts
