Pod Go drives into Fender SCX2 issue

Anyone know why the volume of any of the drive/distortion fx in the Pod Go drops notably when I switch to the Voices channels on the Super Champ X2? What was pleasingly loud becomes obviously muted - too much digital stuff colliding?!
