@Gassage I know you're jesting but a serious question - does anyone actually know any Lazy J owners who have had any issue at all? I certainly don't.

Think I've had three of them and they've all been wonderful, trouble-free amps.
@gringopig had some problems with his J20, they're not the only one so they're not isolated events, not going to derail the thread as it's been done enough on here. Hoping the new venture is good for both ThorpyFX and Jesse, Adrian has been great whenever I've been in touch, even taking personal calls or messages late. I have 4 of his pedals and they're stellar products. Jesse seems a nice guy all round too.

The powerlines have floaters so the airplanes won't get snagged...

Launch is now 5pm not 4pm after a mix-up on time-syncing with the USA. They start daylight-saving a week later than us, apparently.

  • I always thought the Thorpy stuff looked great, but Adrian has really stepped it up of late. The latest boneyard I have is a thing of real beauty.

The Demos in the Dark demo makes it sound pretty decent.

I'm not saying this out of any bias - it is bloody fabulous. Adrian and Jesse have smashed it out of the park. Fabulous.

My resolution of not buying any pedals for myself is being severely tested...

A couple of weekends ago one of my guitars got played through a Lazy J.

It sounded very different (in a very positive way!) to anything I'd ever got from that guitar.  OK, some of that would be the playing (he's a way better player than me), but I reckon a large part of it was the amp.  I came back and did a little Lazy J browsing.

Would I no longer need the amp??

Thorpy's idea is that this is the pedal option for people who don't have a Lazy J amp. You wouldn't need both.

Yeah, sorry, my question was tongue-in-cheek (or whatever).  Completely get the point of the pedal :D

    It's a lot easier to justify a £300 pedal than a £3k amp!

What if I run The J into my J20? Do I get compounding awesomeness?

  • I was just thinking something like a Lazy J would be the one thing that would sit beautifully against my Matchless. This might do a good job in helping test that theory :)

ordinarily id say this is a big no go..... BUT we have tried this and it sounds incredible (against my first instinct)

the plan is to add this to the range, cant do 5 years of R&D for a limited release, but they are HARD to build the thing is rammed inside
