Got to be honest - these are the only Tele neck pickup I've ever liked - they look cool as feck, and sound amazing with the right set up, but they do sound 'different' - the pain in the arse is as you say the fitment - they should fit anyone with an HS routed Tele though - The newer standards are a kind of HSH Nashville config rout - this may fit straight into one of those with the right pickguard.
