I'm selling what i consider to be one of the best Parlour Guitars on the market . . It's the K.Yairi G1F . . . I'm trimming down to one electric and one acoustic . . It's just a matter of taste but my Taylor 414ce is my favourite and it's always the first thing I pick up . . The Yairi sounds better and is built as well as any top end guitar.
Id just like to point out that, despite all the video and DNA evidence, it genuinely wasn't me, your Honour  !

  • Not quite a parlour, but I am LOVING my Taylor GS Mini - fantastic piece of kit, beautiful build, so comfy to play and the sound is just tremendous!

no feathers ruffled     merely different opinion   :)

played one a (used) couple of weeks back on the insistence of one of the guys in the store..............  to be fair,  it probably wasnt the same model as yours..   :)  -  it was a parlor, but it had a slotted h/stock................considering the price tag (£900) and the fuss the guy  was making (and the hype Id always read about them),  I was a little underwhelmed TBH........... yeah it was a nice looking and reasonably well constructed little guitar...... but it just didnt sing, probably more to do with me that the guitar tho ! !
Im also one of these wierdo's that doesnt like the vintage V neck profiles either...................LOL

    each to his own  :)

Used to have one of these Blueridge Parlors. Honestly was superb. I have a few high end Martins and this was very close to that quality. It seems very near in spec to the Martin Parlors and there is no real corners cut on the materials. You need to be sure you like the wide nut and V neck, but if you do, very hard to beat:

All my acoustics are USA-built Pro ones except my Blueridge tenor, it is comparable to £1k USA-built stuff I think, so I'd recommend them

that's a pretty different choice. I'd first ask how much do you have to spend? And where are you  based?

actually, I do have an Alan Arnold Baritone, which is lovely, I was thinking of standard size guitars

I just buy on quality and residual value usually, I'm afraid the Americans invented most guitar stuff, and they are rather good at it

Residual value means little, if not "nothing" to me - at my age :D
