Description

Hosco double edged nut slotting files are massively popular the world over, this set is made up of gauges catered towards electric guitars (but can of course be used on any guitar) and mainly aimed at the following gauges: .010"/.026", .013"/.036" and .017"/.046", having a gauged set makes slotting nuts considerably quicker and easier. Slots can be made slightly wider by rocking the file from side to side when filing the slot and these files are also great for slotting Tune-o-matic saddles. Please note the sizes listed on the files are a guide for the string gauges, they can cut wider on the smaller gauges (especially .010"), if you want files of exact thicknesses we recommend our Hosco Gauged Nut Slotting Files Set of 10 which is available as a separate product.
