Looks nice. Maybe more immediately user friendly than their Simplifiers seem, although I've not tried one yet.

Offering footswitches and bigger knobs (!) are definite improvements in my book.

Listened to a few demos - Sounds ok - v expensive I think - the looks seem targeted very much at bedroom guitarists. I do get that. It`s about making a profit. But it seems the biggest thing here is selling the sound on first sight. And for that reason it`s the kind of pedal I'd prob be embarrassed to have.

I do like DSM Humboldt - had a simplifier for a while, and worked well. And I do want to like this.............

I fell down the current crop of yootoob releases with this pedal. It was tempting for an hour or two, but I think I’ve enough dirt options for now!
Cricks, did I just say that?

I think it looks very cool and it is tempting - yet another piece of kit I fancy owning for no better reason than just because...

I'm not the target audience, but it looks well-designed and probably well-built.

So anybody got hold of one of these yet?

I must admit it sounds great in most demos out there and being fully analogue (apart from reverb) really appeals to me.

I plan to try one out tomorrow - there's a high chance it will end up coming home with me ;)

Nice, it will be good to hear your thoughts on it.

Extra points if you have tried any of their other models for comparison.

Well that was a big No - I was hoping for so much and it was pretty poor. I pressed buttons turned knobs and the only somewhat useable tone was with the tone stack by passed. Sounded flat like a blanket was over it.

I tired a Tone King Royalist - no contest just not sure its what I want so I didn't buy it but it was a close run thing.

Oh, wow, that's a shame as it seems capable of lots of tones.

Goes to show that you can never judge a piece of gear based on online demos alone.

And yeah, the Tone King preamps sound great. We're definitely spoilt for choice these days.

I was a little taken back by how poor it sounded given the hype it received.

The Royalist was however excellent and I was very close to buying it and may still do so.
