Looking for some Handwired  goodness that works at home
When I say works at home, I mean a decent master volume or  built in power scaling

Firstly, happy to own up that I have let go of some brilliant amps that worked superbly at home - Weinbrock/cornford/cornell/MJW For example and  then for Some reason or other (Usually financial) or  just simply me having a brain fart, I sold them on - All on here, which is a good thing I suppose…

Anyway, I am retiring in a few weeks time (get my free bus card and everything!!) and will have more time to play guitar so I’m looking for a last hurrah,
so if anybody has an interesting Handwired head primarily Then do please let me know
A combo is not out the question, but definitely would need to be reasonably okay to lug  around weight wise as I struggle with shoulder and back  issues
Thanks in advance

@northernstomps had a rather awesome Lazy J 5 for sale.
Doesn’t get any better than that.

I have a Cornford Carrera (which I'm absolutely not selling) and can highly recommend it. Not massively versatile, but works very nicely at home, sounds awesome IMHO, and takes pedals really well.

@Petepassion is selling my old MJW 'Blonde 6G6 bassman.'
That has a master volume and as far as I remember, sounded jolly nice at home levels as well as lovely cranked louder.
I only moved it on as I had a Gartone incoming.

A Carr Skylark is a brilliant home amp imo, great clean and driven sounds and a good attenuator and reverb built in. Not lightweight at around 40lbs but mine just stays in one place so not really an issue for me. Good luck with the hunt.

My little Supro Blues King 1x12 is.perfect at home.

My house is detached, so I play at a good volume, never annoying loud,  but it does clean, boosted clean, and OD (with a great reverb) all on-board.

    Loves pedals too.

Many thanks @TheMarlin @fretfinder I will look into your suggestions, thanks also @steven70 , I have had a few MJW so will think about the bassman thank you, good call @bodhi regards the Carrera, I have seen a couple of for sale but they’re quite pricey I think, well pricey for me as I sold my hurricane for £500 (which is what I paid for it on here) so I can’t run to what is being asked for the carrera, but thanks man

There's a Matamp First Lady on here somewhere which is a good deal. It's a combo though.

It's my intention to list my 65 Amps "Ventura".

The Master Voltage supports sensible levels of home-playing with two channels and "bump" (EQ bypass) switching options that provide plenty of flexibility of tone. Can also carry a gig effortlessly if required to.

Also ticks your size and weight requirements.

65 Amps 1x12 cab also due to be listed.

You're welcome to PM for further details, thanks.
