Holy smokes - just got 2 tickets. Never thought I'd get to see this guy - let alone up this close.

Thanks for the heads-up. Just checked and he's playing practically on my doorstep in Sunderland. His style of music has never really been my bag, but for £23 I think I'll go just to see such a classy, talented musician.

I certainly hope so.
I paid £38 for Southampton. Just an absolute steal to see one of the finest electric guitarists in the world today.

£41.22 in Wolverhampton.

I'm not sure any of those venues are actually tiny. But I'm not sure that EJ has much of a following in the UK either so it will be interesting to know how ticket sales go.

They'll be absolutely rammed.
I saw Orianthi at a 600 capacity venue on Sunday and could barely move.

Well, that's what getting old does to you. Plenty of oily fish might help. 

I find it very hard to judge these things and I guess the promoter has a much better idea than I do but I would have thought that Johnson was quite a minor figure in the public's eye, less surprised about Orianthi. But we will find out.

From what I can see online this is a continuation of his Texaphonic tour which is as a blues rock trio.
