There are a lot of differences between these and the US made 1960s originals. They're certainly not 'identical'. Pickups aren't great, the fretboard side dots are in the maple rather than half and half and I'm fairly sure they're basswood bodies.

Having said all that, I've owned one for almost 30 years, and they are fantastic in their own right. Good luck with the sale.
